Structural steel comes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes for applications that include construction material, machinery, towers, truck frames and parts, freight cars and more. Sections are made by either hot or cold rolling or welding pieces together.

Shapes

  • Bar - Flat, round and square

  • Tubing - Square and rectangular

  • C-Beam - Also known as Structural Channel

  • I-Beam - I-shaped cross sections

  • L-Shape - Also called Angle

  • Z-Shape - Half of flange in opposite directions

  • Sheet - Available Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled and Galvanized 7 gage - 28 gage

  • Plate - Available 3/16" - 14"thick in full plates or burned to shape
