A-2 Drill Rod is air-hardening ground and polished. It can be used to replace O-1 for applications for safer heat treating, less distortion during hardening and greater wear resistance.

 

A-2 features good machinability, high stability after hardening, good wear resistance and is suitable for medium run tooling.
