A-6 Air Hardening Flat Ground Stock Info Doc

A-6 Tool Steel ia a medium alloyed air hardening steel. A-6 prvides an excellent balance of machinability, toughness and wear resistance. It has a low heat treating tempurature resulting in deep hardness and minimum distortion.

 

Great for  bending and forming tools, mandrels, dowel pins, gauges, shear knives, blanking and forming dies, chuck jaws, trim dies and tooling for plastic injection molding.
